Just for fun!

This is a trial run...looking to see how many of us wish to join and talk about what, we as women, do. How we share and laugh as women. What it means to be part of the bigger congregation of womanhood....here we are. Let's find ways to move through the maze together. What drives our daily life? What makes you wake up and do it all again and again?

  1. I love your "Trial Run". I think this is a great idea! There is so much stress and worry in the world, our work places, and our daily lives that having a place to chat, laugh, and share ideas and thoughts is great.

  2. Thanks PB you are the best. I know I really like having a place to put out all that stuff that happens daily. I am more than ever loving my women friends.

  4. That sure does seem more important as the years progress huh? I am very happy to have you all here. If anyone wants me to make a post on their behalf send it along. I would be honored to do so! Deb

  5. What makes me wake up each morning (besides biology -- I guess I really wake up because my body is rested enough), well, that's what wakes me up. However, what catches my attention is a strong desire to see how the day is going to unfold. I challenge myself to see everything that occurs, every momement, as equally significant. The sunrise, the texture of my breakfast oatmeal, getting dressed, talking to my daughter, cold air, people talking to me while I am focused on something else -- all equally important. How can I see that? That is what makes me wake up and do it again and again.

  9. Deb, I truly understand your comment about "when we rest in our beds tired and fragile from old age..we can...if we observed and stored the memory...relive it all. again and again!" I just hope that when my time comes I can remember where I stored those memories and that I still have the ability to retrieve them.

To those of you much younger than I am - just wait....you too will worry about these things some day. Believe me, getting old isn't for wimps!

  10. I think I am on my way there. I always tell my daughter that if I get to that place where I can't remember, will you please "pluck my eyebrows and my chin, put a dog on my lap, and chocolate in my mouth!" She laughs and says, "I will, mom. I promise."
